it all started with a ninth grade play.

we decided to have a sleepover that night.

and that night changed it all.

we stayed up all night, talking about how much we loved each other, and what our favorite qualities were in each other.

i know. it sounds very...girly.

but it was probably one of my favorite nights to date.

as the years pass, others have come and gone, but the five of us have stuck together.

i mean, we are the sticky peanut butter between two slices of bread, aren't we? :)

here's to the bbmss.

we're all changing.

choosing different paths.

whether it's different colleges, different high schools, or even just different classes.

it's different.

but get us in a basement with a lot of pepsi and blankets, and we can easily have the best night.

i love each one of these girls so much, and there is such a dear place in my heart for each of them.

there's the nneka.

it's never complete without nneka, and we all know that.

we clash heads sometimes, but i love this darling very much.

i don't know how she does it, but she always has so much energy, and that is what i love most about her.

and she obviously made p.e. the best class ever. :)

then there's the princess. aka madi.

the dancer. the 00. the "look at my tummy!"

this sweetheart is one of strongest girls i know. she always has 1 million things going on in her head, but she somehow manages to stay completely sane. oh, and we cuddle. a lot. :)

we're the twins in the back of the classroom that have our own little language.

i have such an overwhelming love for this girl. it happens so often, and i don't know if she knows that.

i look to her in advice all the time, and she's usually always right. ;) just kidding.

last, and certainly not least, there is rach.

i am her math girl. she is my rock girl.

she is the only person i know who gets my sense of humor so well. she just understands my nerdishness.

there is simply not a strong enough word to tell you how much i love this girl.

and no matter how little i don't see her, or talk to her, (even though we live 5 seconds away) this girl is extremely special to me. we just have to have our sleepovers every now and then. she keeps me sane.

don't worry, this isn't one of those posts where i rage on and on about how miserable my life is, because it certainly is not, even though it kind of started out that way.

i mainly did this post because i rarely put pictures up of myself, and i thought that this is the perfect opportunity.

considering my hair is in a french braid, and i'm wearing my paris sweatshirt from saver's.

my hair is generally pulled up 75% of the time, and i am usually in my pajamas.

i have been watching some harry potter over the past couple weeks (typical), and i am beyond in love with luna's hair. so the question is, to perm, or not to perm? that is the question.

there had been that sickening feeling in my stomache all day.

finally, my aunt pulled up to the parking lot, and i hopped in her white car.

she smiled at me. tears were already in my eyes.

"oh great" i thought. i'm starting early.

we pulled into the parking lot of the resturant for lunch.

he looked so good.

light shining through his eyes,

his tie a little crooked,

and the big cheeser grin on his face.

we ate lunch, laughed, and took pictures with him.

except i didn't get one with him.

i was probably avoiding it so i wouldn't cry.

then the time came to say goodbye.

two years seemed like forever right there.

we were all in the parking lot, and i tried not to look at him.

finally, he pulled me into one of this big bear hugs, and we both lost it.

i was saying goodbye to my best friend for two years.

i had no idea how i was going to survive my next two years without him.

no more random late night ice cream runs for two years.

no more dance parties in my room.

no more rehearsals.

no more sleepovers.

no more him waking me up by jumping on me and screaming like a little girl.

no more "take a picture of me!"

but at the same time, i knew he had to do this. 100%. there was no other way.

and he was SO ready to go teach those people of Ukraine.

i stopped hugging him,

my shoulder soaked with his tears.

his with mine.

i smiled. he did too.

i walked to my aunt's car.

i had to go back to school.

i was about to get in, when i hear

"krista!"

i look over to the green expedition.

he's leaning out of the car, and looks at me and says

"you're a loser!"

one year down, one to go!

i miss my best friend, my brother, but he is doing incredible.

that light of christ is permanent on his face in all of his pictures.

and he wouldn't have it any other way.

My Best Friend's Wedding

This cute girl got married on July 19th, 2011 at the Salt Lake LDS Temple, and she was beautiful. I'm so excited for her and her new adventures, and of course to set up her cute house with her this week.

Congrats to the new Mr. and Mrs. Beck. :)

Best friends since we were 10 and 11,

and when we made a giant cookie the first night we met, and accidentally used extra virgin oil instead of vegetable oil,

and when we stayed up all night playing Nancy Drew (Ages 5+) on the computer,

and watching Madagascar, Nacho Libre, Napoleon Dynamite non-stop,

and family trips to the cabin and St. George,

and buck teeth,

and braces,

and driving together for the first time in the blue Jeep,

and ballroom,

and singing in church,

and peach rings,

and make-up,

and going tanning for the first time together and we had NO idea what to do,

and rearranging our rooms and painting them together,

and just plain old cleaning our (Kailin's) room (and bathroom) all the time,

and having no other friends besides each other,

and having week long sleepovers,

and night time "activities",

and teenage heartbreaks,

and playing Mario,

and sarcasm,

and girls camp,

and never, EVER having a fight in the 7 years we've been friends.

This girl has been one of the most influential people in my life, and has completely shaped and defined who I am today.

Mitch is one lucky guy. That's all I have to say.

Last week, me and 4 of my best friends, Madi, Nneka, and Rachael went up to this camp called OYA (Outdoor Youth Adventure) at BYUI, and it was the most incredible experience. We could not have asked for a better group, counselors, setting, or anything. (Besides showers. Those could've been a little more frequent. Ha.)

But it was incredible. It was like EFY, except older, smaller, and more adventurous. Seriously, go to OYA if you get the chance. INCREDIBLE.

All in all, it was an incredible week.

We'll be returning. :)

Speaking of Harry Potter, I saw him.

In real life.

He was like, 20 feet away from me (I almost jumped off the balcony, just so I could say I touched Harry Potter.) as I watched him play the part of Finch (F-I-N-C-H) in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, alongside John Larroquette in New York City at the Al Hirschfeld theater.

If you're in New York, go see it. I promise you'll love it.

And speaking of New York...I LOVED IT.

I saw other shows as well, like Memphis, Catch Me If You Can, Phantom of the Opera, Lion King, and Wicked. Obv.

I promise you, I will live there.

michelle corinne perry has these two down-syndrome twin sisters, and they are THEEE cutest things on the planet.

there's cool dude and princess amanda.

cool dude dresses like a boy, and refuses to go by anything besides cool dude. she's hard core. too cool for school for sure.

then there's princess amanda who is the ULTIMATE definition of girly-girl. she loves dresses, and has a boyfriend, and loves everything girly basically.

well one day, michelle walked by the bathroom to find princess amanda looking at herself in the mirror and pretty distraught.

she asked her what was wrong, and amanda just looked at herself in the mirror again and said,

"i hate my life. too beautiful, too skinny, too hot, too sexy, too pretty. i hate my life."

darling, right? :)

isn't that all how we should feel about ourselves? that we're too skinny, too beautiful.

i love this lady.

i always get sick around shows.

it's a combination of a couple of things.

1. stress.

2. anxiety.

3. crappy immune system, thanks to having mono. twice.

4. allergies.

5. not enough sleep or food to always keep me going.

6. did i say stress already?

so all of this results in me seeing my food again every couple of hours or so. yum-may.

as i sit here in my pj's, i would just love to share with you a couple of pictures to a) figure out another reason why i got sick. stress again? probably. and b) do a bit of an update. so here goes nuffing.

this weeks ten is going to be hard one, but i feel like it's one that i need to force myself to do in order to humble myself and be thankful.

finding the most perfect prom dress.
getting an education. i know it drives me nuts now, but i will be so thankful and happy later.
learning how to do things i've never done before, like things in set building.
late at night frozen yogurt runs (yogurt bliss has THE BEST cake batter ice cream/yogurt ANYWHERE) with lots of laughs and tears.
unexpected friends.
this one is weird, but the fact that my itouch broke. i used to just waste so much time on it and i kind of became addicted as silly as it sounds. so yes, it's sad that it broke and i lost all that music, but it is a blessing in a way.
singing (belting, actually) freaking high notes i had ZERO idea that they were in my body.
placing 2nd in region with Moe and our musical theater selection "who will love me as i am" from sideshow.
supportive parentals.

the fact that my dad is moving his studio home and is building a freaking sweet studio in out basement. baller.

i'm sitting here in my basement, starting my 5 page research paper due tomorrow, along with a huge history review, also due tomorrow. procrastination much?
so, as i sit here, listening to the soundtrack of mr. ray charles (my hamster) run on his wheel, i thought i would procrastinate for just a minute more, and share with you how cute my brother jordan is. i know. i think i have the cutest boys in my family. my dad, and both my brothers. but they kind of are. anywho, this is what he wrote to me in my most recent letter:

"well sis your awesome! I love you very much! Have a great week this week alright and don't forget to try something you have never done! (Riding on top of a car at 50 mph maybe?) haha flash that beautiful smile of yours and have a great week!"

oh, i love missionaries. and brothers. and best friends. and this guy happens to be all three! honestly, they don't come much better than that, folks!

i have the cutest dad in the entire world.
i was feeling extremely sick sunday night and i went to bed around 8:30 (and because i had to be at school at 6:50 a.m.) but didn't end up falling asleep til about 12:00. so at around 11:30, i was on the verge of tears from being sleep deprived, headache, and all that jazz. so i went to go see if my mom could help me out and i walked out and my dad was just sitting on the couch, watching t.v. he asked me what was wrong and i just started to cry because i felt so bad. he took me upstairs and got me some medicine and being just the cutest thing in the world. he gave me one of those big, daddy hugs and started to massage my neck. (which is my absolute favorite thing in the world, p.s.) he gave me another squeeze, and then sent me off to bed.

just wait. there's more.

so morning rolls around and scott comes in at 6:40 asking if i'm going to school. remember how i had to be there at 6:50? so i scrammble out of bed (with a couple of accidental choice words) and get ready in literally, 5 minutes.
fast forward to when i get home.
i walk downstairs and i see that my bed is all made and cute. i usually make mine in the morning, but i was a bit rushed this morning. i ask my mom if she did it. nope. i ask rachel. nope. i ask scott (shockingly enough) thinking that maybe he saw how stressed i was and decided to help me out. nope. and i doubted it was my daddy, and plus he was at work, so i couldn't ask him right then. my mom is convinced that i made it that morning and that i just forgot. but that's not even possible, considering how i had 5 minutes, and it takes me at least 10 to make my bed.
(hey, i'm a perfectionist, alright?)
daddy walks in and yup, you got it folks.
he made my bed.
i know it doesn't seem like a big deal to some people, but it was a huge deal to me. he's already so busy and stressed and barely has time to sleep or eat because he's working for us. it meant the absolute world to me.
he is the cutest thing in the world. i hope i grow up to be just like him.

ten things of happiness.

this week has been a good week.
but you know what? so has every other week. every single week has good things about it. and not just weeks. years, months, days, hours, minutes. and i guess seconds too if you're feeling super grateful. ;)
so, here are ten good things that have made me happy this week:

i felt so good about my pre calculus test that i was sure i was going to fail.
this picture above. ^ i was getting ready for bed, and zoe was just ready to snuggle. it was the perfect image.
i finally wrote j0rdan for like the third time since he's been gone. and he wrote me back. ah, love.
seminary lesson from my favourite teacher, brother anderson. my regular teach brother hemming accidentally sprained his ankle. :( so he had to leave. he is awesome too, but i got a little treat with having brother anderson. talk about a spiritual uplift!
i finally got a new phone for my birthday! and no, it was not because i ruined it by dropping it, leaving it outside, or dropping it in the toilet. this was simply because i was in for an upgrade. i made it two whole years!!!
men's basketball game with michelle-we won. :)
blogging has become a strange, new addiction...? it's fine.
d.i. trip with my one act cast to look for costumes. it was pure fun.
sleepover/all nighter with my some of my BEST friends in this entire world-michelle, madi, and rachael.
scott actually put the rugs from the bathroom in the washer.

*at least i think so. crap, i hope it wasn't my mom...*

that was my happy week in a nutshell. this may become a routine. i hope so!
try and find at least ten good things about your week and write about them in your journal, sing out about them, or blog about them like i did. i don't care. just document them. you'll feel so much more grateful and happy.

Here it comes. The BIG one. So, here is what my life has been the for the last, oh, eight months.

1: Romeo and Juliet

Yes, this is me. I got to play Rosaline and the Apothecary. So, thanks to Megan Line (AKA: My Future Sister-in-law), and her make-up skills, I got to look like this. Not going to lie, I loved every second of it.

Megan, me and Moe. Two of my most favourite girls! (Aren't they beautiful?) Megan was in the ensemble with me, while Moe was Juliet. They both were wonderful! (Sorry about the discolorations. I have no idea why it decided to be green.)

2: Thanksgiving!
We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving at out house this year.

3: Ran out of gas for the first time...?

4: UTA: Utah Theatre Association (Basically, a theatre nerd camp where we talk about theatre and colleges for three days and go to shows. Fun, right? ;) Ha.)

Being teenage girls with a camera, all of the others were ridiculous and not even document-able (That even a word? Now it is.) You'd just scroll through them. So I thought I'd save you the trouble and just post this one. Me, Kristen Parker, and Mary Pew. Love these two!

5: The Drowsy Chaperone

I know I missed a lot of things, including Scott coming home in July and Jordan leaving in September. I am so thrilled to have Scott home and Jordan is absolutely loving it in Ukraine. Some other things that I did from May 2010-January 2011 are listed below: (I'm too lazy to put up pictures. Plus I can't find half of them.)

Finished my first year at American Fork High School. Yowzers.
Made Drama Council as Junior Representative.
What the Ukraine, Jordan?! (When he first opened the call, I thought it was somewhere in South America. Way to go public school systems!)
Went to EFY Provo with Emily Peterson, again. :)
Went to Lake Powell with my dear, Mallory and the Bearnsons.
Went to the never-ending Girls Camp. (Just kidding.)
Got two extra sisters for the whole summer!!!!
Had a brother return from the Florida Jacksonville Mission. Woot!
Went to Kelli and Jeff's in Chicago for like the fifth of sixth time in a row! (Minus one. We don't like to bring up the summer I was confined to my house...)
Started my junior year at American Fork High School.
Sent off another brother to serve the Lord in Kyiv, Ukraine. (Which is in Russia, by the way. Not South America.)
Won first place at the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City at SUU for a monologue and got a $1000 scholarship there, but I can't take it because well, I'm a junior. (I mainly just said that one to brag and sound smart. Ha.)

My 17th birthday finally rolled around.
Got freaked out about how close college actually is and that I need to start figuring out what the heck I'm going to do with this life of mine.
Musical Theatre Dance Showcase.
Half way done with high school. Reality check much? Again, ^^.
Live life day to day, and try not to get behind, or too ahead of myself.

Well 2010, you brought a lot of things as you can tell by this list above, but that's only just scratched the surface. There was so much more and I couldn't list it all because then the post would be 978 feet long and the people reading this would want to gouge their eyes out. (If they don't already.) And to 2011, I'm excited. I know that there is going to be a lot of fun, but difficult and trying things that you are going to bring. And you already have with this past month. So you know what? Bring it. Because I have HIM
to help me through it. And guess what? I am going to make it.

Here is one of my most favourite poems ever. I have it framed and hung on my wall.

One night I dreamed a dream.
I was walking along the beach with my Lord. Across the dark sky flashed scenes from my life. For each scene, I noticed two sets of footprints in the sand, one belonging to me and one to my Lord.

When the last scene of my life shot before me I looked back at the footprints in the sand. There was only one set of footprints. I realised that this was at the lowest and saddest times of my life. This always bothered me and I questioned the Lord about my dilemma.

"Lord, You told me when I decided to follow You, You would walk and talk with me all the way. But I'm aware that during the most troublesome times of my life there is only one set of footprints. I just don't understand why, when I need You most, You leave me."

This past week has been a little bit off.

A little scary.

A little sad.

A little busy.

A little stressful.

So today as I got home from the chiropractor, I reflected.

We shouldn't be looking at how bad our lives are.

Look at it as the glass is half full instead of half empty. What do you have which is worth saying,

"I'm grateful for that."

or "I'm lucky to have that."

So. Here's what I'm lucky to have:

I have an identity. I know who I am.

I have the absolute best friends.

I have a loving, eternal family.

I have a clear, blue sky, not completely covered in smoke and ash.

I have the most absolute, best bed in the entire world.

I have experienced my first car accident. Now I don't have to anticipate waiting for that one to happen.

I have a voice which can be heard.

I have a sturdy, beautiful home.

I have a yummy, pink lemonade to drink.

I have warm, toasty jackets that I can throw on when I am cold.

I have two parents. Not one. But two.

I have a brother who is serving the Lord.

I have another brother who is crazy and likes to lift up his shirt at me. (Such as right now.)

I have a sense of humor.

I have a testimony.

I have two sets of parents. One for now, one for later. (:D)

I have a pair of zebra pajama pants just waiting to be sewn.

I have talents. Regardless of how good or bad I am at them.

I have the ability to not be good at everything. I mean, if I was perfect at EVERYTHING, how boring would that be? If everyone sang, who would be there to listen?

I have a smooth, wide road to drive on.

I have two arms, two hands, two legs, two eyes, and two ears. How lucky are we that we get TWO of those? Not just one, but TWO.

I have a book which tells me all I need to do to succeed in life.

I have the privilege to taste.

I have ability.

I have clothes.

I have shoes on my feet.

I have money. Not too little. Not too much. But enough for now.

I have a tooth brush.

I have makeup.

I have jokes.

I have a journal.

I have thoughts.

I have love.

So this post is going to be lots of words, with few, if any, pictures.
It is April 25th and I sit here and try and figure out a few things...

a: My English homework and why teachers feel the need to give giant assignments (such as 10 page research papers) in such a short amount of time.
b: Why people freak out if they did not get asked to Prom. Hello. I didn't and I am completely fine. :)
c: The fact that my brother Scott comes home in about 2 1/2 months. BIG WOW.
d: Why the sunshine is hiding from me and why it snowed this past week....
e: Where on earth has the time gone?
Like seriously, it's already APRIL. Jordan is getting ready for his mission. He leaves sometime around the beginning of September. SEPTEMBER. It's almost May!! And also, I am going to be a junior in high school. Last time I checked, I wasn't this old. At heart, I'm still 8 years old. This may not seem very old to those of you who are long past the high school/college years. But it's giant for me. I only have two years of high school, then I am done. DONE. I feel like I just started my first day of Junior High... Well, I am not complaining about school being over! :) All it means is sunshine, tanning, and vacation... Ooo la la. :)

I work at my Grandpa's senior living center, and as you can imagine, I hear some pretty hilarious things. Some of them have dementia and things, but there is this one lady who is totally there mentally and absolutely hilarious. There was this new lady and this hilarious lady was trying to make her feel welcome and things, so she invited her to come sit at her table at dinner time. And so as she was pushing her in she said, "Okay honey, now would you like your boobs on the table, or in your lap?"

I had to keep myself from laughing out loud so they wouldn't hear me!

Let the update begin....

So, first on the list is that I finished Children of Eden! It was such a fantastic experience. Neal Johnson, our director, was so good, and I don't know how we could have done it without him! Also, it was probably one of the best casts ever. Everyone was so dedicated, and it just made all of the difference.

So after Children of Eden was over ( *sniff*) I went to Lake Powell! I went with the whole Saltmarsh side of the family, and it was so much fun! I totally think that it should be tradition :)

All of the grandkids, minus Scotty cause he's on his mission, and Jordan because he got a concussion wake boarding, and the little girls cause it was too scary for them. ;)

So then (!) after Children of Eden and Lake Powell, I went to Chicago to visit Jeff and Kelli! They are so great, and I am so lucky I get to go visit with them every summer! This summer went by really fast though. I am sad it's over :( oh well! At least I get them in Utah for a couple weeks now, so there is still time to play!! :) Delaney and I waiting in line at Navy Pier for the ferris wheel in downtown Chicago.

While I was in Chicago, we decided to drive down to Oklahoma to visit our Aunt Carolyn. It was so much fun too! Jeff, Kelli, me and the kids drove the whole 12 hours. Only thing was, when we drove back, we didn't have Jeff. So two adults, two kids, and one screamin baby. Haha just kidding about the screaming baby. She did SO good for being in the car that long! But anyways, while we were there, we wen to "Pop's" this cool gas station/resturant where they have so many soda pop's. It was really cute! And then we just basically swam and tubed every day. Sadly, I didn't take that many pictures while there, so I stole this off of Kelli's blog :)

Then once we got back, I went to EFY Nauvoo with my friend Emily again. It was so much fun and we had an AWESOME session director, Brother John Hilton. We learned so much from him, and he was just awesome. We also got to do baptisms for the dead at the Nauvoo temple which was so amazing. It is so stunning!

So this week, I am going on Trek. Yes you should all be jealous. I mean, who doesn't want to walk 36 miles in pioneer clothing, in the POURING RAIN, which according to the weather websites, it's gonna rain, A LOT.

On a happier note, for any of you who are in the state of Utah, and are somewhat close to my house, you should come see the show that I am in called Children of Eden. It's going to be SO SO good. For those of you who do, me and Rach got the chance to sing with them a few times this past couple of weeks with my dad! It was so much fun. We first sang at a high school in Smithfield.

( No makeup! Haha.) Ok, this lady is Katherine Nelson. She played Emma Smith in the movie Emma Smith My Story. She is such a sweetheart, and she sang Emma and Sleep in the shows. She was so fantastic!

Signing autographs! A kid asked me if I would sign his chest. I said no, and then he came back again and asked me if I would write him on his mission. My dad was like, "No. But I will write you on your mission!" Oh goodness. My poor, future dates.

Yes, it has been a while since I updated. Let's see, where should I start? Well, the most recent thing I have pictures of, is that we went to a Jazz game, and had THIRD ROW SEATS! Thanks to my fantastic Uncle Rich and Auntie Pam. Here are some awesome pictures, and they aren't even zoomed in! WOW!

Haha OK, so do you see the big guy in the middle wearing an orange shirt and he's bald? Well look right above him, and see the guy in the blue shirt with the white hat? Well it was SO funny because every time the Jazz would make a basket, they would stand up and give each other high fives, and then the big guy would pull his pants up. It was so funny! EVERY TIME. It was great :)

So that was way fun! Well, I guess nothing new has been happening just doing shows! I got the part of Grace Ferrell (Daddy Warbucks' assistant) in our up coming show, Annie. I'm so excited! And Rachel is doing Annie through the city also, and she got the part of Annie! She is super excited. There is going to be a lot of Annie at our house :) Also, me and my friend Rachael Stewart have been directing a little show called Soda Shop Angel for our drama class, and it opens tonight! So it should be fun!

Birthday was fun! I'm officially 15 as of a month ago. Haha! Less than one year till I get to date and drive! Dad is thrilled. HA. Anyways, for the berfday, I got an iTouch, so that was really cool! I love it :) We got to go out to Applebee's, and it was awesome!

The Results.....

From my previous post, it shows the epic story of me dropping my telephone into the toilet, and then it goes on to say how I covered my telephone in rice, because according to Meredith it saves it. SO the results are...... IT WORKS!!! It works great!! So, if you ever get your phone dowsed in water, you should immediately put it in rice for 24+ hours.

Ok, I have almost no pictures for this one, so bear with me!

I've been through many phones. I went through 4 Razrs in 6 months. (NOT MY FAULT.) And two others that were my parents old ones, that decided to not charge anymore, and the battery decides to fall out because someone pushed me in the hallway and it fell one the ground at school.... ANYWAYS so all of the 'breaking of the phone' situations haven't been my fault, until now. I think....
I got Scott's old phone, which was a really good phone and has lasted me for six months.

So then, last night I was at Meredith's, and I was going potty, and I took it out of my back pocket so it wouldn't fall out, and anyways, so get to the point............ It fell in as I was flushing. Now it didn't get "dirty" if you get what I mean, but it did get completely dowsed in water. So we put it in rice (? Ask Mere. I guess it works.) I am now phoneless, unless this works. :/

Okay, do you want to know something so bizarre that I just discovered? My dad has SIXTEEN STRAIGHT DAYS of music on his iPod! YEAH. And that isn't even CLOSE to all of it! He has got TERABYTES of music! (1,000 gigs) I didn't even know that much music existed! So anyway, I thought that was so weird! I'll eventually update about Chritmas and my birthday. Haha, eventually. :)

Neck Issues

I have been sick the past like 2 1/2 weeks with just the average cold and allergies that EVERYONE is getting here. Anywho, so I sleep with my body pillow, and then a pillow on top of that normally, but since I have been sick, I have put one more pillow on top of the other one also (3 pillows so far) so that I won't get a stuffy nose in the middle of the night. Sorry kinda gross, but I need help. So my back and neck are kind of always in need of some sort of massage or adjustment. So with 3 pillows, it is KILLING my neck and back. Like, I can feel them tensing up right now as I talk to you! Any tricks that I can use to get rid of this, so that my parents don't have to spend $40+ dollars to take me to the chiropractor? Like, any of those old little sayings like "An apple a day keeps the doctor away" that actually really work? Kind of a stupid question, but please HELP!

Pride and Prejudice

So, on my TAGGED post, I was getting a lot of crap how I haven't watched Pride and Prejudice, and I am here to tell you all that I have watched both the Keira Knightly version and the 6 hour BBC version, and I absolutely love them! Like TO DIE FOR. BUT, I must say that I like the Keira Knightly version better. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I absolutely love her, but I just like it! Well, please be proud, cause I am DANG proud!

Ok, so I know I haven't updated for a while, and I got in trouble for it! Sorry Aunit Cathy! I hope you still love me, even if I did put a snotty post earlier :). I am sorry! The reasons being A: I don't have a lot to update about and B: I have been busy and not taking very many pictures and stuff! But I just got back from Cedar City, and I forgot to take pictures! Sorry! But I will steal some from my friends. Anyways, I went to that and it was super fun! I did a monologue from A Winter's Tale and I did the part or Hermione. None of us won anything, but it was super fun! I can't wait to go next year with the high school!

Ok, so I found this super cool thing called www.picnik.com, and it's like this photo editing website that is free, and so cool! You can like add text to your photo's, shapes, and like all these cool effects to them! It is so cool and really, really, really, easy to use! Try it out! Here are a few that I did. The first one is of my bestest friend Kailin, and that's her favorite saying ever, and then next one is of Rae doing what she does best! More coming! Enjoy!

K, so I know I haven't updated in a while, but I am alive! So no worries! So some updates......

1: School started. BLAH! It's okay, except for a few classes! Oh! And I made the Shakespeare Team at our school and I got a monologue, which is by myself, in the competition down in Cedar City so I get to go do that! I am so excited! :) But otherwise, school is, well, school!

2: I have been sick for the past two or more weeks and haven't gotten better, so yesterday I went and got tested for mono. I don't know what the result is, but I will know Monday so I will let you know!

3: I moved downstairs! My room is adorable! Curtis painted, and me, and my best friend Kailin, and my sweet Aunt Cathy (Whom I love so much!) gave me the bed, and the bed spread stuff. I love it and love being in it all the time! Here are some pictures:

So here I am, on this beautiful 26th of July night, watching my mom fold laundry, while I sit next to my Aunt Cathy, and Rachel is playing on her DS, and Scott is rocking in the rocking chair, and I'm trying to figure out my layout on Blogger, and I really wanted to write about something. So, I ask my mom what to write about, and she said, "Write about going to bed!" So here I sit in front of you good people while I write about going to bed. I don't get what the point is about going to bed. I mean, it's your own fault if you're tired and don't get enough sleep because you didn't provide yourself with the opportunity to get enough sleep to energize yourself for the next day. So, I don't think that anyone should have the right to tell you to go to bed, because it's a choice weather you go to bed or not. You can't make yourself go to bed, unless you take a sleeping pill, but that's cheating. So, I hearby state, that no one can tell you to go to sleep. It's not possible! :)

Scott's Mission Call!!

Hey everyone! So Scott got his mission call today! He's going to Jacksonville, Florida! He leaves July 30, which is in like 6 weeks! It's way way way to early in my opinion because I'm not going to see me big brother. :( I'm going to miss him so much, but I am so happy and excited for him! He's going to be one of the best missionaries ever. I love him so much and am SUPER excited for him!
